Every year, hundreds of people take the telc exams and receive their certificates successfully at DAS Akademie, telc's Authorised Examination Centre in Turkey. The evaluation of the exams is carried out entirely by the telc Centre in Germany.
So how is the telc exam scoring system? How many points are required at which level to be successful?

- The telc Deutsch A1 exam is assessed out of 60 points. The minimum passing mark is 36 points.
- The telc Deutsch A1 Junior exam is assessed out of 60 points. The minimum passing mark is 36 points. This exam is suitable for primary and secondary school students.
- The telc Deutsch A2 exam is assessed out of 60 points. The minimum passing mark is 36 points.
- The telc Deutsch A2 Schule exam is assessed out of 100 points. The minimum passing mark is 60 points. This exam is suitable for secondary and high school students.
- The telc Deutsch B1 exam is assessed out of a total of 300 points, and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: out of 225 points, a minimum of 135 points is required for success.
- Mündlich: Out of 75 points, a minimum score of 45 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch B1 Beruf exam is assessed out of a total of 300 points and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: out of 225 points, a minimum of 135 points is required for success.
- Mündlich: Out of 75 points, a minimum score of 45 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch B1 Jugendliche exam is assessed out of a total of 300 points, and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: Out of 225 points, success is achieved with a minimum score of 135 points.
- Mündlich: Out of 75 points, a minimum of 45 points is required for success.
- The telc Deutsch B2 exam is assessed out of a total of 300 points, and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: Out of 225 points, success is achieved with a minimum score of 135 points.
- Mündlich: Out of 75 points, a minimum score of 45 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch B2 Beruf exam is assessed as a whole out of 100 points. A minimum score of 60 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch C1 exam is assessed out of a total of 214 points, and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: Out of 166 points, success is achieved with a minimum score of 99 points.
- Mündlich: Out of 48 points, a minimum score of 29 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch C1 Beruf exam is assessed out of a total of 214 points, and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: Out of 166 points, success is achieved with a minimum score of 99 points.
- Mündlich: Out of 48 points, a minimum score of 29 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule exam is assessed out of a total of 214 points, and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scores are as follows;
- Schriftlich: Out of 166 points, success is achieved with a minimum score of 99 points.
- Mündlich: Out of 48 points, a minimum score of 29 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch C2 exam is assessed out of a total of 160 points and the Schriftlich and Mündlich sections are scored separately. The scoring is as follows;
- Schriftlich: Out of 120 points, success is achieved with a minimum score of 72 points.
- Mündlich: Out of 40 points, a minimum of 24 points is required.
- The telc Deutsch B2-C1 Medizin FSP (Frachsprachprüfung) exam is assessed as a whole out of 100 points. A minimum score of 60 points is required for success.
